Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the provider on June 21, 2023, beginning at 11:20a.m. and ending at 12:59p.m. There was one child in care during the inspection. The child was observed taking a nap. One child?s record was review. The provider and three household members? records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, battery-operated radio, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors were observed and in compliance. Not all the licensing standards were able to be accessed during this inspection.

Based on a review of documentation and provider interview, the provider did not ensure that all children?s records contained the required information and signed documentation. Evidence: Child A's record was missing a signed acknowledgement that they received the Information For Parents, medication administration policy, and liability declaration
Plan of Correction: The provider will obtained signed documentation from the parents and place it in the child's record.
