Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on March 9, 2023 from approximately 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There were 19 children in attendance and a total of 3 staff present. 3 staff records and 2 children?s records were viewed. All areas of the center were observed including cafeteria, gym, bathrooms, and the playground. The children were observed eating snack and doing homework, while the licensing inspector was on-site.

Violations were cited as a result of this inspection.

Based on records review, and interview, the center failed to ensure that the Program Director meets the qualifications. Evidence: Staff #1 is the Program Director. The record for staff #1, date of employment 09/14/22, contains educational transcripts in a non-related degree/field. The transcripts for staff #1 did not contain any child-care related credits. When interviewed, the administrator confirmed that the Program Director did not meet the educational qualifications.
