A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the code compliance inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in code were reviewed during this SHSI.

For each group of children, the vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

There were 7 children present in the 2-3 year old class at 10:30 am on 10/02/2024 but the attendance record showed 8 children marked present.

A written care plan is required for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.

Child 1, who has been enrolled for one month, has a diagnosed food allergy and did not have a written care plan in the record.
