Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted today. A total of 6 children with the Provider providing supervision was observed. The children were free playing in the main programming space and interacting with the provider. The children were instructed to clean up some of the toys and equipment from the floor and transitioned to the table to engage in musical instruments. Walk thru of the programming space, kitchen, bathroom and hallway was made. One child was napping in a separate room. A total of all six children's files were reviewed and staff/household files were also reviewed and found complete. Discussion on additional training required annually. All background checks for staff/household remain current along with required certifications. This inspection occurred between 11am and 12:30pm. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions. Thank you for your cooperation today.
