Inspector Notes

An initial inspection was conducted today. No children are in care, thus those standards regarding the care and supervision of children were not reviewed. Written parent and staff policies were reviewed. The physical plant was inspected. The playground space behind the facility was inspected. Five staff records and five children's records were reviewed. Any areas of standards related to direct service that were not determined during the initial inspection will be determined at the first unannounced inspection following the issuance of a license. All future inspections will be unannounced. The first unannounced inspection will be conducted within 60 days from the date the license is issued. Based on record review and interview it was determined the center did not ensure that each child's record contained all of the required information.
Evidence:
1. 3 of the 5 records reviewed did not contain all of the information needed for the two emergency contacts.
2. Staff confirmed this information was not available during this inspection.
