Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 12:30 p.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. There were three children in care ages 11 months, 2.5 years and 3 years old for a total of 8 points under the care and supervision of 2 staff. Children were observed during snack after outdoor play, transition time and preparing for nap. Childcare areas and supplies were observed.

Two children's records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of the attendance record, the family day home did not maintain a written record of all children in care. Evidence: On May 31, 2023, at approximately 12:40 p.m. there were two children written on the attendance sheet but three children in care.
