Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was completed on 9/20/2024 from 1:00pm - 2:40pm. At the time of entrance, 7 children were in care with 2 staff members present. The sample size consisted of 5 children?s records and 3 staff records

A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Caregivers who work directly with children shall, annually attend the department's health and safety update course.

1 of three staff (staff #2) had not completed the department's health and safety update course within the past 12 months.
Plan of Correction: Staff #2 began completion of the department's health and safety update course while children were sleeping during he inspection and sent the certificate of completion to the inspector the same day.
