Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on May 16, 2024, from 9:45 am-12:00 pm. At the time of entrance, ( 99 ) children were in care with (17 ) staff members present. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records. Children were observed engaged in blocks, manipulatives, "R" words and lunch. Medications were observed. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice.

Based on a review of medications and records, the prescription medication is not maintained in the original, labeled container with the prescribers instructions pertaining to the dose, frequency and manner of administration.
Evidence: There are 2 medications for emergency use that do not have the prescription medication in the original, labeled container with the prescribers instructions pertaining to the dose, frequency and manner of administration.
Child # 6 medication authorization form dated 5/9/2024 and Child #7 medication authorization form dated 4/2/2024.
Plan of Correction: We will ask the parents to bring in the prescription labeled box for each medication.
