Standard 22.1-289.035-B-3
The center must request a search of the central registry prior to the employee's first day of employment.

Staff #5, who had been employed for three months, did not have a central registry search requested.
Plan of Correction: The staff member?s last name was spelled with a dash, which the system could not process. This has been corrected and resent.
Standard 8VAC20-780-260-A
The center shall provide to the licensing representative an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.

At the time of the inspection, the center?s annual fire inspection report was 8 days overdue.
Plan of Correction: The fire marshall came and performed an inspection on 2/6/2026.
Standard 8VAC20-780-40-M
The center is required to keep a current list of all known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions in each room or area where children are present.

At the time of the inspection, classrooms #1 and #2, which had children present, did not have an allergy list.
Plan of Correction: Updated allergy lists have been placed in all the center's classrooms.
