A renewal inspection was conducted today, May 4, 2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 10:15 am until 11:30 am. The director was present and assisted in the inspection. There were 11 children present, ranging in ages from four to five years, with two staff supervising. Children were observed playing in centers that consisted of housekeeping, science (magnifying glasses/ plastic bugs), indoor play tunnel, and music. Later the children practiced singing songs for their graduation presentation that was scheduled for the next day. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Four children?s records were reviewed and a follow up of three staff records was completed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
