Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 9/11/2024 and completed on 9/11/2024. The on-site inspection began at 11:30am and ended at 12:10pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There was 1 child present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 3. The inspector reviewed 1 child?s records and 2 staff records [on-site]. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 9/18/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard 8VAC20-800-800-B
The provider shall review the emergency plan at least annually and update the plan as needed. The most recent review of the emergency plan was documented on 12/20/2022.
Plan of Correction: A new updated emergency plan will be made and put up next to emergency drills. We will assure its policies annually.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-B
Shelter-in-place procedures shall be practiced a minimum of twice per year. No shelter in place drills have been documented within the past year.
Plan of Correction: Shelter in place procedures will occur every September and March along with lockdown drills. This will ensure both are getting completed.
