Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from10:40 am to 11:45 am. There were 2 children (5 points) in care of one caregiver. The children were observed eating morning snack, playing with puzzles and getting diapered. Handwashing was observed after diapering. 2 children's records and attendance was reviewed. The outdoor play area was assessed. Areas of concerns are listed in the violation notice. Based on staff interview, emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly.
Evidence: The provider stated that she did not know she had to practice evacuation drills monthly. No drills were conducted since the provider became licensed.
Plan of Correction: Evacuation drills will be practiced monthly and recorded in the drills log.
