Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on November 21, 2023 between the hours of 10:00am- 11:30am. There were a total of seven children (20 points) observed with two caregivers. A total of five children's files and three staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, manipulatives, eating snack, and other organized activities. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. 1. Child #2 was sitting in a high chair upon entrance of the family day home. the safety strap was not securely fastened.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #2 served snack to five children sitting at a table. Caregiver #2 did not wash the five children's hands with liquid soap and warm running water before eating.
