Inspector Notes

A non-mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on January 10, 2024 from 11:30am-12:20pm. There were 28 children in care with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and programming. A total of 5 staff background checks were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center did not keep all hazardous cleaning materials kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence: In the preschool, the cabinet above the sink was unlocked and contained cleaners.
Plan of Correction: Cabinet was locked during inspection.
