Inspector Notes

A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on March 21, 2024 from 11:10am-1:00pm. There were 31 children in care with 8 staff supervising. Children were observed listening to a book, playing with blocks, The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center did not ensure all areas. inside and outside, shall be maintained in a safe condition.

Evidence: The playground surfacing on the back playground is split open and has created gaps between the resilient surfacing exposing the dirt. These cracks and gaps cause a tripping hazard for children.
