Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/20/25 from 10:30 am to 12:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 63 children present and 12 staff. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site.
This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-160-A
Each staff member shall submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening that was completed within the last 30 calendar days of the first day of employment.
Staff # 1 began employment two weeks ago. Staff # 1's TB screening was completed 8 months ago.
Plan of Correction: TB screenings will be completed in the correct timeframe. Management has reviewed the regulation and will ensure that all TB tests are completed within 30 days of employment moving forward.
