Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 11/20/2023. There were 7 children, ages 9 months - 4 years, 1 administrative staff and 2 staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 children?s records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed during center time and lunch time. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 10:00am and departed the center at 11:59am.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observation and discussion with staff, the center failed to ensure that annual approval from the health department shall be provided.

Evidence: The annual health inspection was dated 10/21/2022 and on the day of the inspection an updated annual health inspection was not documented.
Plan of Correction: Provider will have health department conduct environmental sanitation inspection.
