An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today.
There were five children present, (ages 6 mos-4 yrs) for a total of 14 points, with one provider. A second caregiver was present for part of the inspection.
The children were eating a morning snack, playing with toys, singing and preparing for lunch.
Five child records were reviewed.

Based on observation, the facility failed to ensure that cribs have a tight-fitting bottom cover.
Evidence:
1. There are two cribs in the play room with bottom covers which are not tight-fitting.
There is one crib in the living room with a bottom cover which is not tight-fitting.
