Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was completed from 10:00 a.m. until 12:15. There were 34 children present with 12 supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, diaper cream was accessible to children.
Evidence:
1. In the 2's bathroom, there was Aquaphor and triple paste in baskets below the diaper changing table. 2. In the toddler bathroom, there were two tubes of Aquaphor under the diaper changing table in baskets.
Plan of Correction: The director will have shelves that will hold the diapering cream to keep it inaccessible to children.
