Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 6/5/2023 from 11:20 am to 2:15 pm. There were 24 children in care, ages 4 months to 4 years, in two groups under the care of four staff. The Licensing Inspector reviewed five children?s records, five staff records, and other program records. The children were observed on the playground, having lunch, and free play indoors.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
2EVIDENCE:
1. At the beginning of the inspection, Staff 3 was the only Staff in the infant room, and this lasted for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. The record for Staff 3 has no documentation to show they are qualified as a program leader, and their job title is listed as ?assistant?. Staff 1 confirmed that Staff 3 is not currently qualified to be a program leader.
2. Throughout the inspection, the two- and three-year-olds were with Staff 2 and 4. The records for staff 2 and 4 have no documentation to show they are qualified to be program leaders. Staff 1 was unable to show any training documentation to show these staff people were qualified.
EVIDENCE:
An unlabeled tube of diaper cream was in a backpack that was stored on the floor level of an open ?cubby?. It was accessible to children.
