Inspector Notes

An announced initial inspection was conducted on 6/21/2023. There were no children currently enrolled or in care at this time. The home, 1 caregiver record, 1 household member's records, pet vaccination records, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that medications for are kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: observed that the provider had medication, vitamins, and pet medications in an unlocked cabinet in the kitchen, located in the same space where children will eat their meals and snacks.
