Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 11/30/2023. There were 4 children (8 points) directly supervised by 1 caregiver(s) The home, 1 caregiver records, 4 child's records, no household member's records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely inside the play room. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Based on review, the provider did not maintain a written record of children in attendance at the time of the inspection.
Evidence: reviewed the attendance log and found that the provider had 4 children in care, but only 1 child on the attendance record.

Based on observation, the S-hooks on the outdoor play equipment were not tightly closed.
Evidence: observed that the s-hooks on the swings of the outdoor play equipment had an opening that was wider than a dime.
