Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-270-A
Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a safe and operable condition. The flooring covering in the main walkway of the center that leads to each classroom is lifting and buckling in some areas, posing a tripping hazard. In the bathroom there was a rusted toilet tank cover on the floor inside a stall exposing the tank.
Plan of Correction: The director fixed the toilet during the inspection and the tank lid was placed back on the tank. The director will discuss with staff that the stall door should've been closed to prevent access by children and she should've been notified the toilet was not working. The center has plans to have the floors recovered.
