Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 12:50 pm to 1:20 pm. The provider has not enrolled any children since becoming licensed, therefore many of the standards could not be assessed. The wood burning fire place was last inspected on 7/20/23. Two household member's files were reviewed during this inspection. The areas of non compliance are outlined on the violation notice.

Based on interview, it was determined that there was no portable battery-operated weather band radio on site.
Plan of Correction: I will obtain a weather band radio.

Repeat Violation:
Based on observation and interview, it was determined that emergency numbers were not posted in a visible area close to the telephone.
Evidence:
911, the number to poison control and the number for the emergency back up person was not posted.
Plan of Correction: I will post the emergency numbers.
