Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/15/2024 from 1:45 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. There were 54 children present, ranging in ages from four months to five years old with 12 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of six child records and six staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that in each room or area where children are present, there is a current written list of children?s allergies available to staff.
Evidence:
1. In the older 3?s classroom, there was no written allergy list available to staff. Staff #7 confirmed that at the time of the inspection, there was no written allergy list available to staff.
Plan of Correction: Printed and stored an updated allergy list in the older 3's room.
