Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated on 3-31-2025 and completed on 3-31-2025. The inspection started at 10:45 AM and concluded at 12:05PM. There was 1 child present and 1 caregivers; the point total was 2. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 2 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 4-7-2025.

Caregivers who work directly with children shall, in addition to preservice and orientation training and annually attend at least 16 hours of training, to include the department's health and safety update course. This training shall be related to child safety, child development, health and safety in the family day home environment, and any required department sponsored training. The vendor did not obtain the department's annual health and safety update course .The most recent course was overdue by 11 months.
Plan of Correction: I am taking the 3 hours of health and safety update training for home daycare. From better kids. As soon as I am done I will send the certificate
