Inspector Notes

A initial inspection was conducted on May 10, 2023. There were no children present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, household members, physical equipment and environment, diapering and toileting, storage of medication, emergencies and nutrition. A total of one child record, one caregiver record and two household member records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, provider did not ensure there is a landline telephone available that is not a cordless or cell phone.

Evidence: The landline available is a cordless phone.
Plan of Correction: A corded landline phone will be purchased.
Standard 8VAC20-800-520-C
Based on observation and review, provider did not ensure there is documentation that cribs meet current US federal crib requirements.

Evidence: The full size crib present had a label dated 2016. There was not documentation that the crib meets current federal crib requirements.
Plan of Correction: Crib will be removed and not used.

Based on review, provider did not ensure there is a first aid kit with required components

Evidence: The first aid kit did not have triangular bandages.
