An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 01/09/2025 and completed on 01/09/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:35AM and ended at 11:10AM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. CDC: There were 5 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 18. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 4 caregiver/household member(s) records.

This inspection included document review, a tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-320-G
Wood burning fireplaces and associated chimneys shall be inspected annually by a knowledgeable inspector to verify that the devices are properly installed, maintained, and cleaned as needed. Documentation of the inspection and cleaning shall be maintained by the provider.
Woodburning fireplaces had not been inspected in over 12 months.
Plan of Correction: I will get the inspection completed.
