Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted at 1:35pm. Observed 5 children in care totaling 14 points with 1 caregiver. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed napping during the inspection. The daycare areas of the home were found to be sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Based on records reviewed, 1 of 4 children's records did not include required information. Evidence: The record for Child #5 did not include the name, address and phone number of 1 of 2 required emergency contacts. The space was left blank.
Plan of Correction: The emergency contact information will be completed.
Standard 8VAC20-800-90-C
Based on records reviewed, 1 of 4 children's records did not include documentation of immunizations every 6 months until the age of 2 years old. Evidence: The most recent immunizations for Child #3 were dated June 2023, when the child was 11 months old.
Plan of Correction: The immunizations were received and placed in the child's record.
