Inspector Notes
An announced Initial inspection was conducted on 5/25/2023 from 10:40 am to 12:47 pm. There are 6 children (19 points) supervised by 2 direct caregivers. The home, 3 staff records, 6 children?s records, 2 household members? records, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing outside, napping, and eating lunch. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Violations
4Evidence: The outlet near the diaper changing table was missing an outlet wall plate.
Evidence: There were six children present at the initial license inspection. The provider is only permitted to enroll three children. Before enrolling more children than what the current permit allows, a license must be obtained.
Evidence: Triangular bandages were missing from the first aid kit.
Evidence: The family day home did not have a written emergency preparedness and response plan that includes provisions for a responsible person who is 18 years of age or older and is able to arrive at the family day home within 10 minutes for emergency backup care until the children can be picked up by their parents.
