Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on April 25, 2024 between 8:30 am and 9:55am. There were 6 children present with two (2) caregivers supervising within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed arriving for the day, toileting, hand-washing, eating snack, and playing with other age-appropriate toys and materials. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, required posted documents, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programing, evacuation drill logs, menu, first aid supplies, attendance, child and caregiver records, and emergency procedures. There was no medication onsite at this time. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, contact the Licensing Inspector, Sheila Nelson at sheila.nelson@ doe.virginia.gov.
