Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-780-340-A
Based on interviews, staff failed to always ensure the care, protection and guidance of one child.
Evidence:
1. Approximately a few months ago, Staff #1 confirmed that she accidently fed two infants with the same spoon, while feeding them at the same time.
Plan of Correction: Staff #1 was open and willing to retrain on how to avoid this mistake from happening again: focusing on one infant at a time and also focusing on the task at hand. Retraining on proper sanitation and protocol was given. Both sets of parents were aware of the situation; one set of parents understood that it was an honest mistake. it has already been corrected prior to 5/20/24 inspection/complaint
