Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 06/12/2025 completed on 06/18/2025. The on-site inspection began at 1:00 p.m. and ended at 2:25 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 52 children present and 9 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records on-site and 5 staff records electronically on 06/18/2025. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations, and measurements.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-80-A
For each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

In group 2 there were 8 children present, but 9 were marked present on the attendance record and in group 4 there were 13 children present, but 12 were marked present on the attendance record.
Plan of Correction: Attendance will be updated as children arrive and depart.
