Inspector Notes

An announced initial Unlicensed Subsidy Health and Safety (USHSI) inspection was conducted on 06/06/2023. There were no children present during the inspection and according to the vendor, children are not enrolled at this time. Vendor is will and prepared to receive children.
The home, vendor's records, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of the emergency supplies, the emergency kit did not contain all required components.
Evidence:
1) On the date of inspection, the first aid kit did not contain tweezers and a digital thermometer.
Plan of Correction: I will buy tweezers and a digital thermometer to include in the first aid kit.

Based on observation, emergency phone numbers were not posted in a visible and conspicuous place.

1) On the date of inspection, 911 or local dial number for police, fire, and emergency medical services and the number of the regional poison control center were not posted.
