Inspector Notes

Conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection at 9:55am. Observed 13 children + 3 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed having circle-time and indoor free-play. Staff were actively engaged with the children and activities. The program areas were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Based on records reviewed, 1 of 3 staff working today did not have documentation of a negative TB screening prior to coming into contact with children. Evidence: The record for Staff #9 did not include documentation of a completed TB screening. Post-inspection management submitted a chest-x-ray report dated July 2023 but it did not show results of a TB screening.
