Inspector Notes
A renewal inspection was initiated on 2/1/2024 and concluded on 2/1/2024. There were four children present with three staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and three staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:25 am and concluded at 11:10 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the ?plan of correction? and date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within five (5) business days from today. You will need to specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring gain; and 3) person or person(s) responsible for implementation.
Violations
3Evidence:
The water temperature at the sink outside the bathroom in the lunch area exceeds 120 degrees F.
Evidence:
During snack two of the four children had crackers and water. Snacks require two food components.
Based on record reviews the center failed to ensure that the written agreement between the parent and the center shall be in each child's record by the first day of the child's attendance.
Evidence:
Three of the seven records reviewed did not include the statement that the parent will inform the center within 24 hours or the next business day after the child or any member of the immediate household has developed any reportable communicable disease, as defined by the State Board of Health, except for life threatening diseases which must be reported immediately.
