Inspector Notes

An announced on-site initial inspection was conducted on 09/20/2023. There were no children present during the inspection. The inspector measured 3 classrooms for a total of 57 capacity. The licensee requested capacity is 47 children. Backgrounds were reviewed for two agents.
The inspector arrived at 12:45 PM and departed at 1:45 PM.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that all areas and equipment are safe, clean and operable condition.

Evidence:

1.In the toddler room, two windowpanes were cracked and would be accessible to the children in care.
2.The flooring in the toddler room was cracked, peeling and started to separate from the floor and would be accessible to the children in care.
3.The floor vents in the preschool room were rusted and were deteriorating in a way that would not allow the vents to lay flat to the floor.
Plan of Correction: The licensee sent pictures to the LI to confirm that all areas and equipment was replaced and or fixed.
