Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 7/18/2024. The on-site inspection began at 1pm and ended at 1:40pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 11 children present and 2staff. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 1 staff record. This inspection included document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, authorization forms, a tour of the family day home, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
1Evidence: Caregiver #3's sworn disclosure statement documents that the caregiver has resided in North Carolina within the last five years. The provider confirmed that they had not completed a central registry background check or sex offender background check for North Carolina for caregiver #3.
