During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on completed on 8/6/2025. The on-site inspection began at 8:55 am and ended at 10:55 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 36 children present and six staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Hazardous substances shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

A storage cabinet containing insecticides was not locked.
Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
Standard 8VAC20-780-40-M
The center shall maintain, in a way that is accessible to all staff who work with children, a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions. This list shall be dated and kept confidential in each room or area where children are present.

The list in the infant classroom was not confidential.
Plan of Correction: The Director will ensure all lists are in each classroom or area where children are present and that it is confidential.
