Violations

2
Standard 8VAC20-780-340-A
Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that when staff are supervising children, they always ensure their care and protection. Evidence: in the infant room, a child had a soft toy stuffed with beans brought from home. When the owner picked it up, a bean fell onto the floor. The bean could be a choking hazard.
Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection - the soft toy was given back to the parent to take home.
Standard 8VAC20-780-560-M
Based on observation, the facility failed to prevent children from drinking while walking around. Evidence: a toddler was walking around while drinking milk from a sippy cup.
Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection - the owner put the sippy cup out of reach.
