Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the provider from 1:25 pm to 2:20 pm. The provider was present with two children, ages 17 months and 2 years of age. The children napped during the inspection. For lunch, the provider reported that the children were given cheese pizza, french fries, banana, carrots and milk. The provider does not administer medication and there have been no injuries/accidents. Three children's files were reviewed during this inspection. The violations from the initial inspection had been corrected. The areas of non compliance are outlined on the violation notice.

Based on a review of three children's files and interview with the provider, it was determined that the provider did not provide the parents in writing information on medication policy and liability insurance policy. This information needed to be provided to the parents before the children's first day of attendance.
Evidence:
Child A enrolled on 1/15/24, Child B enrolled on 1/8/24 and Child C enrolled on 11/1/23.
The parents of the children had not been provided medication and liability insurance information.
Plan of Correction: I will provide all parents with this information.
