During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 10/23/2024. The on-site inspection began at 2:15 and ended at 4:00. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 5 children present for a total of 14 points.One caregiver was present at the beginning of the inspection and then another caregiver arrived for part of the inspection.

The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 caregiver records on-site and one household member record. This inspection included document review, tour of the home, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-790-180-A
This is a repeat violation. Each adult household member must have a current report of TB screening formevery two years.

Household member #1 does not have a current report of a TB screening.
Plan of Correction: The household member will get the screening completed.
Standard 8VAC20-800-530-A
Napping children are required to have linens consisting of a top cover and a bottom cover or a one-piece covering that is open on three edges.

All children napping did not have a cover while napping.
Plan of Correction: Covers have been ordered for the children.
Standard 8VAC20-800-60-A
Children's records are required to have health insurance information and a physical examination for each child.

The record for child #3 was missing a physical and child record #5 was missing complete health insurance information.
Plan of Correction: Parents will be asked for all the missing information.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-A
Emergency evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in in care.

Evacuation procedures were not conducted in April and May 2024.
Plan of Correction: Drills will be completed as required.
