Inspector Notes

An unannounced non-mandated 60 day inspection was completed on 12/12/2023 from 9:00am until 10:00am. There was 1 child in care with 2 staff supervising. The director was available throughout the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of three staff records, the center did not obtain documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening at the time of employment and prior to coming into contact with children that had been completed within the last 30 days prior to employment for staff records.

Evidence:
1. 1. The record of staff #1, (hire date 10/2/2022), had documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening dated 10/13/2022, exceeding the date of employment.
