Inspector Notes
A complaint inspection was initiated on 9-19-22 and concluded on 9-19-22. The inspector reviewed compliance in the area of programming. The inspection started at 11:15am and concluded at 12:15pm.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on discussions with administration and review of classroom video the program failed to maintain compliance with this standard as required on 9/14/22 related to encouraging the
children in decision making.
Evidence:
Staff #1 was seen on video nudging child #1 in the back 2 separate times on 9-14-22 while
trying to get her to proceed to the potty after her diaper was removed. The nudges did not
appear to be forceful, and the child did not react to the nudges.
Staff #1 did not assist the child adequately in decision making skills during this incident.

Plan of Correction: Once this incident was reported, immediately upon occurrence, to administration the staff member was immediately removed from the classroom and brought into the office where the video was reviewed. The staff received a written warning at that
time. Further training and guidance will be provided to the staff. Administration
will continue to ensure staff interactions with the children promote their development in decision making skills.
