Inspector Notes

An announced initial inspection was completed on 12/07/2023 as a result of a planned change in ownership. Any areas of noncompliance are documented in the violation notice. All designated areas and furnishings for child care were toured on site. Items reviewed during the inspection include: required posted information, parent pick-up/drop off procedures, emergency maps and exits, first -aid kit, restrooms, transportation, the outdoor space, and the daily schedule. The facility can accommodate the requested capacity of 75 children. The ages served will be 4 weeks to 12 years.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the facility failed to use a leakproof or plastic-lined storage
system that is either foot-operated or used in such a way that neither the staff
member's hand nor the soiled diaper touches an exterior surface of the storage
system during disposal. Evidence: there was an open trashcan in the center bathroom that contained diapers and pull-ups.
Plan of Correction: A foot operated pail was placed in the bathroom during the initial inspection.
