Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on April 7, 2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were four children present and one caregiver; the point total was 10. The inspector reviewed four children?s records and three caregiver/household member(s) records on-site.
This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-70-A
Before the child's first day of attendance, parents shall be provided required information in writing.

Child #4, who has been in care for three months, was missing the policies for the administration of medication. The child was present and in care at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: The provider will have the parent to review and sign the policies for the administration of medications and document the record. The provider will ensure that each parent will have the policies for administration of medication before the child attends the program.
