Inspector Notes
An in-person, initial code compliance inspection was initiated and concluded by a representative from the VDOE, Office of Child Care Health and Safety (Fairfax) on 10/20/2023, between the hours of 10 am through 12:30 pm. There were 20 preschool children present, with 4 staff supervising, across a total of 2 classrooms. The inspector reviewed compliance in the following areas: posting of the written disclosure statement, qualifications, physical plant, capacity, food services, health reports, ratio and staffing, supervision, handwashing, daily health screenings, staff trainings, immunizations, and background checks. The Inspector reviewed (2) administrative staff records, (5) staff records; and (6) child immunization records to ensure that the documentation was complete and in compliance.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable code sections. Therefore, a violation notice was not issued.
