Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was initiated and completed on 3/14/2025 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 3/7/2025 relating to behavioral guidance practices. The inspector reviewed 2 staff records on-site 3/14/2025. This inspection included document review interviews and observations.

The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation(s); therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, violations that were not reported were found related to (area or part of standard) and are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

In each grouping of children at least one staff member who meets the qualifications of a program leader shall be regularly present.

Staff #1 and staff #2 were observed supervising children in classroom 2. The program director stated that staff #1 was the program leader. Staff #1 does not meet the minimum requirements of a program leader.

Hand washing requirements were not met.

Video footage provided by the center showed the children in classroom 2 having their diapers changed by staff #1. Staff #1 did not ensure that the childrens hands were washed after each diaper change. Staff #1 did not wash their own hands after each diaper change.
