Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated on and completed on November 6, 2024. The inspection started at 10:45am and concluded at 11:45am. There were 56 children present and 14 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-790-600-D-1
All staff shall have a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Staff #1 has a certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation that has been expired for over three months.
Plan of Correction: Staff will enroll in a CPR class as soon as possible.

All staff shall have a current certification in first aid appropriate to the ages of children in care.
