Inspector Notes

An announced initial subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 12/19/2023 beginning at 8:55am and ending at 10:40am. There were no children in attendance at the time of the inspection. Required background searches, training certificates and household member information was reviewed. A sample of requirements for daily attendance, child information/records, emergency preparedness planning and supplies were also reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Based on review of the home, areas of the family day home were not maintained in a safe condition.

Evidence: Television was sat on top of bending board placed on top of fireplace. Risk of television falling on top of children.
Plan of Correction: Television will be secured to the wall so there is no risk of it falling.
